WHY CP MBU MUST BE SACKED NOW..... Ever since Mr. Mbu Joseph Mbu assumed office as the Commissioner of Police in Rivers State in February 2013, it has been a litany of woes, abuse of office and public trust. Some few days ago, the media went frenzy with reportage that a total of 320 suspected Boko Haram members were apprehended in Rivers State while on a mission to subvert peace and public order in the state. I wont want to delve into the politics playing out here as the suspects are said to be traders from Jigawa State heading to Rivers state for commercial activities. Just as I accused President Goodluck Ebele Jonathan of playing politics with our National Security with the October 1, 2010 bombing of Eagle Square, the same unpatriotic act is being repeated here. Is this a move to misinform Nigerians that the opposition are behind the Boko Haram menace? Why Jigawa State of Sule Lamido with no recorded Boko Haram activity/attack and Rivers State of Rotimi Ameachi....two leading opposition figures to President Goodluck Jonathans re-election bid. I wont want to delve further into this theory before Im accused of coming up with wild conjecture. To puncture CP Mbus claim, i will restrict myself to standard organisational procedure and classification of terrorist organisation. The Boko Haram can be classified as a Militia Movement operating under the guise of a Religious terrorist organisation. Boko Haram could said to have employed a lot of tactics and cannot be said to have a unique tactics. It tactics includes Bioterrorism(Car bombing), Dirty bomb, Dry run, Hostage taking at some point, Improvised explosive device, School shooting, Suicide attack, proxy bomb and insurgency. Most, if not all terrorist organisations have a clandestine cell structures. A clandestine cell structure is a method for organising a group of people in such a way that it can more effectively resist penetration by opposing organisation which are mostly the Counter Terrorism Unit or rival group in a supremacy contest. Depending on the groups philosophy, its operational area, the communication technologies available and the nature of the mission, it can range from a strict hierarchy to an extremely distributed organisation. Im bold to say that what Boko Haram has in place is a strict heirachy structure. Clandestine organisation avoids electronic communications because of signal intelligence, (SIGNIT: the strength of Militaries and counterintelligence organisation). Based on the classification and elucidation above, I want CP Mbu to tell me the from which listening post did he learn of the suspects movement? Please do not all be unmindful that such outfit can only be in the National Intelligence Agency, State Secret Service, DMI(Directorate of Military Intelligence and the National Security Advisers office. Which ELINT.....or INTEL gave out the identity of these suspects and their intinery To further rubbish CP Mbus feat, I will to explain how a terrorist organisations function and operates using al-qeada as a case study, bearing in mind the collaboration between Boko Haram and Al-Qeada.. Unlike anarchists and revolutionaries in Russia, Ireland, France, Germany, and Switzerland adopted cell organisation in the 1880s, that are remarkably difficult for foes to penetrate, Al-Qeada and Boko Haram cells may be extremely ad hoc in function. A planning cell for one operation may be tapped as an execution cell for the next. Planning or support cells may have fewer than 10 members, responsible primarily for fund raising. They may also be responsible for providing execution cells with drivers licenses, cash, credit cards, or lodging, as well as procuring materials for bomb building. The members of sleeper or submarine cells may have lived in the target area for years, doing nothing until activated. Execution cells are brought in at the final stages of an attack. They will utilise resources supplied by other cells. Operation commanders may come in only at the last moment before the attack. They may be the only link between local cells and the larger umbrella organisation-- The commander may not even perform the operation himself, often leaving the target area before the terrorist attack occurs. With what Ive stated above, it is obvious that CP Mbu has goofed.... There was no way a terrorist cell on a mission could consist of 320 people. It is obvious that CP Mbus has breached public trust and abused his office.... It is obvious that CP Mbus is a misfit for the position he presently occupies as he has exhibited chronic knowledge gap..... It is obvious that CP Mbu is a compromised police officer and is found guilty of gross misconduct unbecoming of a personnel of the Nigerian Police.... It is obvious CP Mbu is now partisan..... It is obvious that CP Mbu is a liar...... It is obvious that CP Mbus action(s) is/are capable of undermining our national security, peaceful coexistence and sovereignty..... This is why it is needful to sack CP Mbu now! God Bless Nigeria......
