WHY DO THINGS ALWAYS SEEM TO COME IN 3s? This afternoon started with a beloved horse at the ranch in the throes of a colic that doesnt look promising. While the owner, the vet, myself and others rallied around this horse and the owner to help out, a horse in the barn started a mild colic. We asked the vet to examine him and she administered meds and we started a watch on him. The original horses colic went from bad, to better, to worse over the next several hours, and then I walked into the barn at night- and sure enough, another horse had started a colic. WHAT IS GOING ON? This horse will be fine as well, and the 2nd horse pulled through his tummy ache after about 3 hours. (The original horse will probably not make it, and will be euthanized in the morning). WHAT A NIGHT, GEEEESH!
