WHY I HAVE A CONVICTION THAT A DOCTRINE OF RAPTURE IS DEMONIC 1. It challenges tha Authority and Supremacy of Jesus Christ as the SON and WORD of GOD 2. It is Not Biblical but Based on a Single word RAPTURE, and it has No bible books support 3. It was invented or Designed in 1830 AD as a result of Mysterious Night Dream of who is Left behind. 4. It imparts Fear in the hearts of people, hence it does NOT serve GODS LOVE TO HIS CHILDREN. 5. It forces scripture to mean what it was NOT meant by the Authors. Rapture Doctrine It has been regarded by Futurists interpreters of the Eschatologcal teachings as an intermediate event of the secret return of Jesus Christ to take/cauht up his people to heaven and leave behind the unbelievers to suffer during the rule and power of the Beast (of Daniel and Revelation)/the AntiChrist (of the Book of 1 & 2 Thessalonians and the book of 2 John. Briefly that is what is regarded in summary form to be the Doctrine of Rapture. For many Decades it has thrown sincere believers into error and lifeless teachings and has won many respect in various gospel platforms. Unfortunately it has gone in many countries of Africa without a critical challenge to its legitimate Biblical authenticity. It all rolls from the book of 1 Thess. 4: 17. ... we will be Caught up... It omits the fact that, it was NEVER the authors mind to tell the event of being caught up but rather THE COMING OF THE LORD. Now the caught up being exaggerated undermined the COMING OF THE LORD appeal. As it indicates bellow: - I Thessalonians 4:15-18 NKJV For this WE say to you BY THE WORD OF THE LORD, that we who are alive and remain UNTIL THE COMING OF THE LORD will by no means precede those who are asleep. FOR the LORD HIMSELF WILL DESCEND FROM HEAVEN WITH A SHOUT, WITH THE VOICE of an archangel, and with THE TRUMPET OF GOD. And the dead in Christ will rise first. Then we who are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds to meet the Lord in the air. And thus we shall always be with the Lord. Therefore comfort one another with these words. This passage does not support the Rapture ideology as mentioned above. But it rather explains in brief about the Heroic deescend of the Lord, not in secret and not as an intermediate visit but a final consummation end. The Bible has maintained only One final event of the coming of the Lord. Jesus spoke by himself and the Apostles taught the same Doctrine only to be twisted in 1830 AD. Jesus talked of the Coming of The Son of Man Matthew 24:27-28 NKJV For AS THE LIGHTNING COMES from the east and flashes to the west, SO ALSO WILL THE COMING OF THE SON OF MAN BE. For wherever the carcass is, there the eagles will be gathered together. Acts 1:11 NKJV ...who also said, “Men of Galilee, why do you stand gazing up into heaven? THIS SAME JESUS, who was TAKEN UP FROM YOU INTO HEAVEN, will SO COME in LIKE MANNER as you saw Him go into heaven.” Matthew 24:30-35 NKJV Then the sign of the Son of Man will appear in heaven, and then all the tribes of the earth will mourn, and THEY WILL SEE THE SON OF MAN COMING ON THE CLOUDS OF HEAVEN WITH POWER AND GREAT GLORY. And He will send His angels with a great sound of a trumpet, and they will gather together His elect from the four winds, from one end of heaven to the other. “Now learn this parable from the fig tree: When its branch has already become tender and puts forth leaves, you know that summer is near. So you also, when you see all these things, know that it is near—at the doors! Assuredly, I say to you, this generation will by no means pass away till all these things take place. Heaven and earth will pass away, but My words will by no means pass away. Revelation 1:7 NKJV Behold, HE is COMING WITH CLOUDS, and EVERY EYE WILL SEE HIM, even they who pierced Him. AND ALL THE TRIBES OF THE EARTH WILL MOURN because of Him. Even so, Amen. These few passages can open a healthy discussion for a true Biblical Scholar to see the demarcation of the TWO different Doctrines. The Rapture Doctrine and the Doctrine of the COMING OF THE LORD. contrary to the Doctrine of the Coming of the Lord Jesus that give GRACE and HOPE to the Believers the Doctrine of Rapture puts more efforts on who will be and who will not be caught up... Twisting the Means of the parables of Jesus mentioned in the Gospel as it says below: - Matthew 24:36-44 NKJV “But of that day and hour no one knows, not even the angels of heaven, but My Father only. But AS THE DAYS OF NOAH WERE, so also will THE COMING OF THE SON OF MAN BE. For as in the days before the flood, they were eating and drinking, marrying and giving in marriage, until the day that Noah entered the ark, and DID NOT KNOW UNTIL THE FLOOD CAME and TOOK THEM all AWAY, SO ALSO will THE COMING OF THE SON OF MAN BE. Then two men will be in the field: ONE WILL BE TAKEN and THE OTHER LEFT. Two women will be grinding at the mill: ONE WILL BE TAKEN and THE OTHER LEFT. Watch therefore, for you do not know what hour your Lord is coming. But know this, that if the master of the house had known what hour the thief would come, he would have watched and not allowed his house to be broken into. Therefore you also be ready, for the Son of Man is coming at an hour you do not expect. Now the Rapture Doctrine suppresses the fact that, it is not the Saints who will be taken but the evildoers! AS it was in tha days of NOAH, who was taken and who was left behind? Based on the Matthew scripture; it is the righteous one who will be LEFT BEHIND to be with the Lord Always... the Evildoers will be TAKEN AWAY by fire. As it were in the time of NOAH: Noah was LEFT behind and here were are as his descendants but the Evildoers were taken by the Flood water...! How can one justify the RAPTURE DOCTRINE???? I Timothy 4:1-2 NKJV Now the Spirit expressly says that in latter times some will depart from the faith, giving heed to deceiving spirits and doctrines of demons, speaking lies in hypocrisy, having their own conscience seared with a hot iron, THIS DOCTRINE IS NOT ONLY WRONG BUT IT ALTERS THE TRUTH OF THE DOCTRINE OF THE COMING OF THE LORD... this makes it to be a DEMONIC DOCTRINE.
