WHY I LIKE WORKING WITH MY OWN REFERRAL NETWORK: Whenever I get someone pre-approved for a Mortgage Loan, I like to refer them to someone in my very small sphere of Real Estate partners. Every once in a while, I will run into a situation with a buyer who wants to use a friend from work or a relative who just broke into the business. Although I enjoy meeting new people in the business, it is also very important that I work with trusted individuals who know how I work. I equate this to a quarterback and a receiver in football. When a buyer wants to change quarterbacks and use a friend or relative, it throws everything off. You end up managing egos and personalities instead of focusing on the transaction at hand. Think of the last time at your job when a new manager came in and changed everything. When your first house is at stake, the last thing you need is to have things delayed or not go smoothly because we have players in the game who havent played before.
