WHY I LOVE HALLOWEEN: Yep, my name will always be officially linked to the mega hit Halloween film franchise for life. 5 Captain Clegg and the Night Creatures music videos on the DVD all directed by Rob Zombie himself, a part in the actual film seen here, and did the original music soundtrack for the film as well. Looking back on it, its pretty much a once in a lifetime deal & thanks to Rob, lifetime mailbox money,(especially in Oct. w/ cable TV), off of something we did in just a few months in 2009. It was so out of left field...never in a million years kind of thing. Hit producer Harvey Weinstein screaming about the budget. Rob commanding the massive/army cast and crew like Kurtz from Apocalypse Now in the middle of a wintery Civil War cemetery in bum f*ck Georgia. I never wanted it to end. The films did so well that I even got to direct my own film w/ Malcolm McDowell who starred in Robs Halloween films. Actor Lew Temple was how I met Rob. We all did the Devils Rejects together in 2007. Anywanker, we ended up touring as Capt. Clegg on the Rob Zombie Hellbilly 2 Tour....sheds, pavillions, huge crowds.(we even brought Roky Erickson out onstage one night in Austin) Then I did these Horror Conventions just packed w/ more horror freaks than you could imagine. Who knew??? Moral: Be ready at all times...never know when opportunity will knock and change your story & your bank acct.? One things for sure, life NEVER turns out like you think it will and kids STILL come up to me all the time everywhere and say Are you Capt. Clegg from the Halloween movie? ps tomorrow night Capt. Clegg plays songs from the 3 Rob Zombie films I did along w/ a Misfts and a Sabbath cover & live go-go dancers at 7:15 sharp at the Dell Stage downtown Austin...FREE show!
