WHY WE MUST VOTE FOR ALAN KYEREMATEN AS OUR FLAG BEARER: 1. Alan is the creative man who turned cassava into cashcrop in the history of Ghana. Since 2005, neat fufu, nestle international since 2004, and now Guiness Gh ltd buy starch from Ayensu starch factory built by Alan. About 10,000 Ghanaian farmers have been benefiting by supplying cassava to this factory. 2. Alan, as a minister, built 5 textile industries at Ghana freezone, each industry employed about 500 workers under designers like the late Kofi Ansah and Prosper of Tema. Through this programme, Ghana was exporting 30,000 made in Ghana shirts to USA each month, and about 5 containers of socks to Europe every week. 3. He did equally wonder with oil palm and salt. For the first time in Ghana and by Alans initiative, workers and students who could not get admission into University, Polytechnic or Training College can now fall on distance learning to earn degree, diploma, etc. 4. Alan is that smart, visionary and action leader who initiated District Industralization Project to ensure that each district has, at least, one industry. He began by giving life to Pualugu tomato factory and building the afore mentioned textile industries. 5. Alan has proposed single digit Bank of Ghana policy rate to bring lending rates down and expand businesses. 6. Alan gave his idea of buying cocoa with our cedi and not with dollar loans. This, Alan proposed, must be done by issuing or floating cocoa bond for our own citizens to buy...now, government has began doing that. This is a leader, a practical leader, an Economist, a Lawyer and international trade genius of record who deserves my vote as a delegate, and as an electorate. God bless Alan Cash. All this was to strenghten our Economy by.... i. Creating jobs and cash or wealth to ensure good health and confortable living. ii. Producing more locally to cut down on importation for businessmen to prosper as well as the workers they employ. iii. Increasing export to earn more foreign exchange to keep the value of our Cedi up and strong always. iv. Keeping prices of commodities down to check inflation which has been one major poison in the blood of our economy. Many others have been said, but this is what space will allow for now.
