#######WHY?###### Why has many directions. I watched this video share on a friends page and took it upon myself to analyze some things and here is my comment to that post. He had a knife didnt he? This is what is written or commented on in the original post? So at the risk of someone getting stab by the perpetrator potentially lunging forward and someone no one feels, as written in the police handbook somewhere, that it was not in the officers jurisdiction to use deadly force? Honestly, how would it have played out if it had been a white man or women that was in these shoes at this time and what would have been the reactions of the same bystanders? Trying to prove a point? Protest, rally, donate to Michael Browns fundraiser, dont do something as idiotic as tempt fate especially wielding a weapon. As disturbing as that was to view as if it were some Hollywood scripted action motion picture, the most disturbing part is that it was being filmed at all. Now this instance was known that it would go viral concerning the place and time that the incident occurred was another instance where someone was trying to prove some point. What was the point being proved? Was it that you can now desensitized our current mind states on to accept the atrocities that happen by filming from start to finish a circumstance that you knew would not end positively and then promoting that to our children like it wasnt horrifying enough that there were witnesses to begin with some of them probably being children. Thank you for that. This is making our jobs as parents much more difficult to raise with the intention that this is not right when it is right there in plain view that people, with access to cell phone, can easily exploit such situations without merit or good intention other than to say I told you so. A loss of life under any condition is disheartening. But when you go around becoming your own personal media affiliate you are not helping the issue. In fact, you may be making it much worse. Even the media makes edits with some sort of forethought before broadcasting except in extreme cases when on the scene in the midst of exchange being live. They are aware that the of what conditioning takes place and just mentioning such a tragedy without audiovisual accompaniment it quite devastating mentally and emotionally in itself. There is no mindfulness in society today under these terms. Parents are letting children shake their asses on video to obscene and vulgarly composed lyrics promoting contradiction by stating that a child should not do in real life what they see in these videos. It is a sickening time as the mind state, especially most affectionately in the African American, Black, and impoverished Hispanic communities is that it is OK to do whatever it is that you want to do because if its on Facebook or some superstar posts it on Twitter it is therefore valid. In closing I pose the same question again. What was the benefit here in this video? What is the point trying to be made.
