WILL WE WORSHIP THE LORD ALWAYS OR NOT? Worship the Lord in the - TopicsExpress

WILL WE WORSHIP THE LORD ALWAYS OR NOT? Worship the Lord in the splendor of his holiness; tremble before him, all the earth. Say among the nations, The Lord reigns. The world is firmly established, it cannot be moved; he will judge the peoples with equity. Psalm 96: 9-10 We should worship the Lord today regardless of the circumstances that we are facing every day. Our Lord created us to worship and praise His Holy name. Worship requires reverence. We put aside all our trials and tribulations and think about the awesome, mighty, holy God that you and I serve. Exalt the LORD our God and worship at his footstool; he is holy. Psalm 99:5 As the Creator of the Heavens and the earth, we need to learn to trust Gods power in our daily life. We have to learn to surrender every moment of our life to His will and way. May we proclaim His greatness daily so He will be revealed to others. Let us pray in agreement that in our nation and around the world, all people will come to fear and reverence our Lord God. Sadly, most people in the world live each day without fear of God, their hearts hardened, living in a life of sin. Come, let us bow down in worship, let us kneel before the LORD our Maker; for he is our God and we are the people of his pasture, the flock under his care. Today, if you hear his voice, do not harden your hearts as you did at Meribah, as you did that day at Massah in the desert. Psalm 95:6-8 As we worship the Lord each day, we ask Him to examine and change our heart to be more like our Lord Jesus Christ every day. This must be a daily, moment-by-moment decision and the goal for our life. We ask our self if we speak, act or treat our family, our extended family and co-workers properly? Do we usually blame others or try to control or manipulate all the circumstances with our life? We ask the Lord to start changing our hearts today. We never doubt what the Lord can speak to our/other’s heart. We never doubt the power of prayer. If my people, who are called by my name, will humble themselves and pray and seek my face and turn from their wicked ways, then will I hear from heaven and will forgive their sin and will heal their land. 2 Chronicles 7:14 He may speak in their ears and terrify them with warnings, to turn man from wrongdoing and keep him from pride; to preserve his soul from the pit, his life from perishing by the sword. Job 33:16-18 As we worship our Lord, we believe that we are to be different than the people in the world who we associate with. We are to act, react and respond as Jesus would. If we dont, we need to keep going back to the people, and say, I am sorry. We must respond differently than others, so when the time is needed, we will be ready to act and react as Jesus would to all our variety of circumstances. All a mans ways seem right to him, but the Lord weighs the heart. To do what is right and just is more acceptable to the Lord than sacrifice. Haughty eyes and a proud heart, the lamp of the wicked, are sin! Proverbs 21:2-4 We must spend time with the Lord, basking in His mercy, grace and power. Are we discouraged? Do we feel like our situations/circumstances are hopeless? We ask our Lord our questions. We ask Him for His divine wisdom and guidance and directions for our life and situations/circumstances. We ask Him to open our spiritual eyes and spiritual ears to hear His voice so clearly. We then wait, listening for His answers and directions. We should faithfully read our Bible daily. How long do we read the Word daily? Are we reading our Bible at least 15 minutes a day? Can we spend 30 minutes a day doing our devotions, reading our Bible and praying? How much time do we spend on our computer, or our phone? If we are limited in time during weekdays to read our Bible, we can get caught up on our Bible reading on the weekends. We should allow the Holy Spirit to speak to our heart and to reveal His will for our situations/circumstances and our life. May we pray for all the hurting families around the world that are going through their own situational/circumstantial problems. Please pray for all these who are wounded and angry with their situations/circumstances . We pray that our Lord will protect all their hearts from doing wrong. We pray that these will not become rebellious because of all the circumstances that are in their life. Pray that all our family/friends will allow the Holy Spirit to soften their hearts. We pray that all our churches will proclaim Gods Word with boldness, truth and righteousness. Let us pray that no man of God or Bible teacher will water down the Gospel of our Lord Jesus Christ or compromise our Lords instructions for living in holiness or Christ-like living. This week, month, and rest of this year and forever we choose to be more like our Lord Jesus Christ every day! The prayer of a righteous man is powerful and effective. James 5:16 TO GOD BE THE GLORY
