WIN FOR THE GRIN UPDATE Ive never done anything like this before yall and Im nervous! I want this to be a success so much because Clint and Paige need and deserve this. This could happen to any one of us tomorrow or even today. What would you do if it did? How would you cope? What would you tell your kids? Your spouse? Your parents? Your close friends? How would you pay for your treatments? Your house payment or rent? Your electric bill? Your car payment? Your phone? Food for your family? And dont forget your to sick to work and DONT have insurance! Instead of your kids wondering what theyre going to get for Christmas, theyre wondering if your going to be here for Christmas. Then you find out that God has touched the hearts of your family, friends and even strangers and is using them to lift you up in prayer, and this matters because you are a person of faith! Then you find out God has touched peoples hearts to raise money for you to help you with all these things that you cant do, only because you are sick. Thats where were at yall and its only 1 week away. WHAT WOULD YOU WANT PEOPLE TO DO IF IT WERE YOU? So please, lets go the extra mile and DO UNTO OTHERS AS YOU WOULD HAVE THEM DO UNTO YOU! We need first and foremost for everyone to continue to pray as you would want someone to pray for you. Second help any way you can. We still need: 1. Bands to play, Christian for the DAY and others for the evening. 2. Money, Gift certificates/cards and or items to be Raffled(please ask your place of work to donate). 3. Hamburger patties/ground beef, buns, condiments, soda, bottled water, small bags of chips, charcoal and lighter fluid. 4. Cakes or pies for the Cake-Walk/Auction. The gift cards or items can be anything! For a meal, a tune-up or tires for your car, gas, Walmart, a night at a hotel etc...... I will be hosting the event and am willing to do anything to make this a success! If I get enough request I will even dress up like Gretchen Wilson and sing Redneck Woman! That alone would be worth coming! If Im willing to do that, what are yall willing to do to WIN FOR THE GRIN ?
