WISHING EVERYBODY HAVE A HAPPY MOONCAKE FESTIVAL! OR MID-AUTUMN FESTIVAL! For anybody who love poem or hate poem, this is the first time a 1500 years old poem translating into visual pictures. Thoughts Afar in Moonlight (望 月 懷 遠), the title of the film, is based on a 1500 years old poem by Zhang Jiu Ling (張 九 齡) AD 678-740. A good poem can have so many meaning, it really depending on the reader mood, age, times, and intellectual. To really understand a poem, we have to understand the history of the poem, the poets, the writer social status in his times. Even though in this video is translating in direct wording in picture, the meaning can be many depending who you with, where you are, your life journey and experience. To me is about; unable to share my love with someone I care, so dream is my only hope. Please enjoy it and thank you for watching.
