WOOLWORTHS FUNDRAISING Always terrific when we have major supporters visit the Bundaberg Hospital to see just how funds raised help local patients. Representative from the four local Woolworths Supermarkets were shown the two new vital signs monitors purchased from the 2012 and 2013 Fresh Food Appeal (valued at $15,000 each). Every time you guy a $2 raffle ticket or a $2 wall token at your local Woolworths store you know that funds are reinvested back to our local hospital to helps children, patients and staff. These monitors measure heart rate, respiration and oxygen saturation levels for critically ill infants and children. Since the Fresh Food Appeal started returning funds back to Bundaberg Hospital in 2009, the Foundation has received $56,000 which has been spent on equipment and training.
