WORD OF WISDOM FROM SOLOMON: Do u know the reason why u are working so hard? And I hated all my labor in which I had toiled under the sun, seeing that I must leave it to the man who will succeed me. And who knows whether he will be a wise man or a fool? Yet he will have dominion over all my labor in which I have toiled and in which I have shown myself wise under the sun. This is also futility What do people get for all the toil and anxious striving with which they labor under the sun? All their days their work is grief and pain; even at night their minds do not rest. This too is meaningless. A person can do nothing better than to eat and drink and find satisfaction in their own toil. This too, I see, is from the hand of God, for without him, who can eat or find enjoyment? To the person who pleases him, God gives wisdom, knowledge and happiness, but to the sinner he gives the task of gathering and storing up wealth to hand it over to the one who pleases God. -Eccl 2:17-26 Hard work bears no Lasting fruit if its solely to earn money and gain possessions. It leaves one empty when its orchestrated by motive to satisfy yourself only. Let ur ultimate goal be: 1) To serve God and others in other to experience inexplicable Joy. 2) To care for our family both physically & spiritually in other to experience fullness of live. Any hard work to glorify ones self will be passed on to who God pleases. Who knows? It might be the kingdom children or a fool. May we receive divine direction and the zeal to serve him aright.
