WORKING WITH OTHERS The chapter by the same title in the big book gives us clear instructions on how we are to approach persons who need our help. This is where the code of love and tolerance that has to be in our conduct, the life of the new man is at stake. I was told that I may be the only big book they may have an opportunity to hear. It is always a fineline to walk, for those whom are trying to carry the message to them that so desperately need to hear it. The honor and privilege to help another person, must be looked as a gift so freely given to us, by those who came before us. I must never let my judgements, selfishness, or self righteousness, allow me to push someone away. I was given a blessing by that power that lives in the heart of the first 100, who gave us a design for living that must be carried on. Bill said that the purpose of a group is to teach us how to work the steps. I must always remember least I die. Thank you for carrying the message to me, that I needed to find a Power Greater than Me, I found it in the book, the rooms, and a group of drunks.
