WORSE THAN STONE AGE.....WHY DOES THE KENYA GOVERNMENT ALLOW THESE YOUNG KIDS TO BE TORTURED SO BRUTALLY BY POLICE? There was drama at the Langat road primary school after police lobbed tear gas canisters at pupils aged between 6 to 14 years. The pupils who were protesting the alleged grabbing of their schools playground by a private developer brought down the walls that had been put up by the developer. At least three pupils were rushed to hospital after tear gas canisters were lobbed at them. One police officer was injured after the pupils hurled stones at the officers who were trying to repulse them. Two activists were arrested. The activists were part of a group that had joined the pupils in the demo. Dozens of motorists along Langata road were caught unawares and suffered the fumes of the teargas that was lobbed along the road to repulse the protesters. The pupils started playing on the disputed land after managing to pull down the perimeter wall.
