WORSHIP OVER WOLLONGONG* Wollongong / Illawarra Christian Community Information Notice Wollongong and the Illawarra will be acknowledging its Bi centenary in 2015 / 2016. Wollongong and Shellharbour Councils have adopted the theme “Shared Values & Shared Future” as a statement and desire for all people to walk together and in particular the Aboriginal people the original caretakers on whose land we reside. Christians can make a significant impact and a creative contribution and following is one expression. Worship Over Wollongong is about Praise, Worship and Intercession being a vital focus and expression of thanksgiving for His faithfulness and Presence in our lives. A corporate worship opportunity by way of a massed choir is scheduled for Saturday August 22, 2015 at 7.00 p.m., in the Wollongong Town Hall. Praise and Worship is to bring, and to seek, a healing to the wounds, a relational restoration, and cooperative future with the Aboriginal people of the land and among Christian denominations. Praise and Worship is the sole focus by all participating and attending in the embrace of Unity and in the Father’s Love for His creation. All people of the Christian culture are invited to participate and promote Worship Over Wollongong declaring that we are all created in the Image of Jesus and that we are all equally important and equally loved in His sight.
