WORSHIP SONG for SATURDAY - After a holiday like Christmas there is the inevitable let down as we start to get back into the routine of normal life. The decorations will begin to come down, most of the cards will be tossed and our schedules will resume. Over and done, on to the next event. Some of that is necessary because we cant live in holiday mode all the time. But when we understand the epic proportions of the TRUTH of Christmas, we can live in a type of spiritual amazement continually. God becoming human flesh was an event that didnt end on that first Christmas Day, it continued as Jesus lived among us, taught us, died for our sins and rose from the dead. Even now, HE is seated at the right hand of the Majesty on High making intercession for us. That is amazing! So now that the calendar tells us that Christmas is over, dont let the amazement of Emmanuel, God with us die out, keep the wonder and joy alive in your heart. And maybe the Followers of JESUS could also continue a spirit of giving, an attitude of joy and a living out the things He has taught us. Maybe if we stay amazed the world will see more to Christmas than just Happy Holidays
