WOULD YOU TURN ON A LIGHT IN A DARK WALKWAY ONLY TO COVER IT WITH A PAIL SO THAT THE LIGHT CANT BE SEEN? Our witness is our LIGHT. When we place a pail over it we hide the LORD within us, who is the LIGHT of the world. DO WE PREACH IN A SOUNDPROOF GLASS WHERE ALL CAN SEE BUT NONE CAN HEAR? Does our ministry look good in appearances, but says nothing? Let me ask you this: if our LIGHT is dim and our VOICE is mute, how are people going to know how to find their way to Christ; and how are they going to know when they get there; and how are they going to find out who the LORD is so they can CHOOSE CHRIST and find SALVATION for their SOULS? MANY say that GRACE is a license to sin. Scriptures indicate that Grace is a permit to practice righteousness. GRACE demands HOLINESS. REBELS demand UNGODLINESS. GRACE is our learners permit, in which Christ is the only LICENSED DRIVER. GOD is our PILOT. We are GODS co-pilots, HE IS NOT OURS. SO LET ME SEE IF I UNDERSTAND THIS CORRECTLY: GOD SENT HIS ONLY SON INTO THE WORLD TO DIE FOR OUR SINS ONLY SO WE, IN RETURN, CAN RUN AROUND... •DIMMING THE LIGHT WERE SUPPOSED TO BE SHINING. •MUTING THE GOSPEL WERE SUPPOSED TO BE PREACHING. •LIVING THE LIFE OF SIN WERE SUPPOSED TO BE ABANDONING. •REBELLING AGAINST A GOD WERE SUPPOSED TO BE LOVING. •AND PILOTING THE VESSEL WHICH WERE SUPPOSED TO BE THE PASSENGERS OF. How exactly is this supposed to make us saved? GRACE is not given to us in order to make God behave...its given to help us to serve, honor, worship, glorify, praise, obey and rely on GOD. Does living a life of sin accomplish any of these purposes? NO! In fact, it DEFEATS the PURPOSE altogether. Wake up sleepy heads! The alarms been going off for many years now! Stop hitting the snooze button and arise from slumber. If Christ doesnt wake you while youre still alive, itll be too late too wake up after youre dead. Thats something to think about, isnt it?
