WOW....GOOD TRUE STORY FOR TODAY THAT HAPPENED TO ME!!!!! Popped into Subway in Farnham last night for a quick bite, stupidly put my phone down on the side with my purse etc to sort NN out, realised my error and picked my stuff up again. 5 mins later I discovered my phone had been nicked!!! Sick feeling...brand new phone gone!!!! Spoke to lady working there and told her that the 2 guys next to me must have taken my phone as noone else in shop but us. She told me they had CCTV and that she even knew the guys herself..... My quick thinking AMAZING BUDDY Annette Betteridge phoned my phone...no answer....so she brilliantly thought to send a text to my phone explaining that we KNEW WHO HAD TAKEN MY PHONE and that they were on CCTV in Subway and we would plaster their pix up all round town with the word thieves on it if they didnt return it!!! 30 mins later, text from MY PHONE from THEM to say they hadnt realised it was someone elses phone blah blah...and they would return it. Frantic calls back to Subway to tell them what the thieves were gonna do and to let the shop staff know to expect to find my phone on the floor in the morning! Rubbish nights sleep worrying that even if they did return it thru the letterbox at Subway it would get smashed on the floor, OR squashed under the door, OR someone else in the shop may then subsequently nick it again.... Rushed there first thing this am and was greeted by the lady working there, a lovely lady from Nepal of all places, holding MY PHONE!!!! MORAL OF THE STORY!!!! Believe in GOOD THINGS and sometimes THEY WILL HAPPEN!!!!!! Thanks millionfold to Annette and her quick thinking!!!!!
