WOW! GREAT CONCERT! American Authors did a great job opening. Then The Script stepped it up. But it was definitely the OneRepublic show. Ive always liked their music, but I now have even more respect for their lead singer, Ryan Tedder. He writes great music, plays the guitar, kills it on the piano, and can really sing! So much talent for one person. Though OneRepublic can definitely rock the stage, most of their performances are simply beautiful. I was reminded of Simply Red, as well as U2 back when Rattle and Hum debuted. One of my favorite parts of the concert was really unexpected. Ryan performed solo, and sang What a Wonderful World, and I shed a few happy tears. Sure its one of my favorite songs, but more than that, it made me think of how truly wonderful my life is. Im enjoying life more now than ever, and I see it only getting better in the future. Thank you Cindy and Michelle for an awesome night. I love surprises, and this was a good one. Mr. Alternate is always ready to answer the call! :D
