WOW, ITS FINALLY HERE!!! I am so excited to finally have the opportunity to make a difference in the fight against breast cancer. As many of you know, I have been impacted by this disease for many years. My mom was 24 when she was diagnosed with breast cancer. I was only 13 years old when she died at the age of 38. Since the age of 22, I have been doing breast self exams and getting mammograms. I will be spending the next several months training and fundraising for the Avon Walk for Breast Cancer. The money I raise will be managed and disbursed by the Avon Foundation Breast Cancer Crusade to help provide access to care for those who most need it, fund educational programs, and accelerate research into new treatments and potential cures. Ill be just one of thousands of people who will walk up to 39.3 miles over two days, raising awareness promoting education. I cant do it without your help.
