WOW! Looks like theyve done a lot with my favorite hometown bookstore. I havent checked this out myself, but I did have a friend wander in and get me a few books from my reading list when I first got sick with this exacerbation in December. Soon, Ill be done, and will need to come find the next book or two in the series... NOT (JUST) YOUR GRANDMOTHERS BOOKSTORE ANYMORE Over the past two years MUCH has changed at Port Orchards favorite waterfront bookstore. Have you checked it out yet? Paperbacks Plus has changed by: * eliminating the expiration of trade credit * offering rewards for frequent buyers * allowing trade credit use for *all* book purchases, not just used books * offering special orders with no additional shipping charges * offering computerized watch-lists * making the checkout process faster and more efficient * offering a website for online shopping * offering movies, music, and audiobooks * selling Kindles and Kobo eReaders (as well as eBooks and other content for them) * clearing space for additional in-store seating * offering free WiFi * offering a refreshments bar * hosting special events * providing a clearance section for those who *really* want to spend less * offering discount multi-copy orders for reading groups * offering discount multi-copy orders for area businesses/schools * expanding our social media presence (like this) * and much, much more.
