WPD is asking for your assistance in trying to identify some suspects from some cases that are possibly related. Both of these incidents occurred on June 6th around 4-5 am in the same area. In the first incident, a male was standing near 9th and Estelle waiting for a ride, when a small, light colored car, possibly an Oldsmobile Alero occupied by 4 black males pulled up next to him and asked him several questions. The suspects exited their vehicle and beat and robbed the victim, taking his cell phone. The suspects in this case are described as black males, around 30 years old and being approx. 6’ tall and weighing 180 pounds. In a possibly related incident, a homeless man was found in the street at 900 N. Grove with a serious wound to his forehead. The man was transported to the hospital for treatment.
