WRITING THE CAPER FEATURE. The first 100 days is a signifier - TopicsExpress

WRITING THE CAPER FEATURE. The first 100 days is a signifier of achievement (and testimony of character) of any new government. Frances First and Only Emperor- Napoleon Bonaparte had 100 days after returning from exile. Will have 100 days of no internet access at my home beginning on March 26th, my Fathers 76th Birthday (will check emails twice a week) to focus 100% on completing THE CAPER feature screenplay. Insha Allah. In the tone of SOME LIKE IT HOT, I pitched THE CAPER to a standing ovation to a studio audience at (Metro TV) -Metro Screen in 1998, including industry execs Mark Lazarus - creative executive from Mel Gibson Icon company, Bevan Lee (Packed to the Rafters and Home and Away) and Jenny Cornish (Jenny Cornish Media). Bevan Lee took me aside on that night, May 27th 1998, after I pitched and whispered to me this is a beaut! It is your gateway to the film industry, just check the credibility of premise. I wrote those comments down on the pitch. It took me 16 years to check that credibility and establish a track record as a Director. In all this time no film has come even near in story to mine. I still have a copy of the original pitch with the handwritten feedback that I scribed. This is a long overdue promise to my parents that will be fulfilled. I will get the GREENLIGHT (funding approval into production) THIS YEAR. Insha Allah. The 100 days end on July 4th. American Independence Day. Completing THE CAPER feature screenplay frees me from the chains of my past. It is my independence day. FOCUS. DISCIPLINE. SACRIFICE. HARDWORK. BELIEF. RIDWAN HASSIM CREATING MAGIC.
