WTH? We have laws. the DEC does not follow the laws. Common Citizens have to watch out for us? Permits should be revoked! Go to NYS DEC webpage for Quasar permits. Some links are listed below. 1. This is the Buffalo BioEnergy Air Facility Permit for West Seneca - Print Pg. 1 and 4. Note the following: Company name of Sustainable Biovolt LLC, then read the company name in the 1st paragraph. On page 4, note the date of approval per Lisa Porter. dec.ny.gov/docs/regions_pdf/qp1.pdf 2. This is the link to the NYS Dept. of State Corporation and LLC search: Type in Sustainable Biovolt, search the database and then click on the entity name. Note the date of filing. Now match it to the permit above. dos.ny.gov/corps/bus_entity_search.html Sustainable Biovolt received this permit and the solid waste management permit without being registered in the State of NY at the time that the NYS DEC issued these permits. So the permit was issued in April 2013, but the company was not registered with the State of NY until August 2013. The permit must be revoked. That is not all. Go to NYS DEC website and search for Quasar Permits, once you find the page, scroll down past the permits until you get to the picture of the anaerobic digestor. Read the information below the picture. The DEC confirms that there are two separate owners of the Wheatfield and West Seneca Digestors. Sustainable BioElectric owns Wheatfield and Sustainable BioPower owns West Seneca. First, Sustainable Biopower does not have any permits for their plant in W. Seneca. Secondly, the Land Application Permit was issued to Sustainable BioElectric, as the owner of both plants. Per the DEC Fact Sheet, Sustainable BioElectric doesnt own both plants, thus they must revoke the Land Application permit.
