WYNDHAM COLLEGE DONATION DRIVE TREASURE HUNT: WOW! The amazing SRC at Wyndham College recently arranged a school Treasure Hunt Donation Drive. Each roll class was given a list of items that Mama Lana uses for food and toiletry packs, and the students donated as many items as they could. The SRC awarded prizes to the quickest team to donate all items on the list, as well as the team with the most items donated. As a result, the school has generously donated all the items you can see in the photographs! What a fantastic result! We would like to thank Beth OConnor (from MLCFs Library Team) for introducing Mama Lanas to the school, along with school teachers Kathryn Collier and David Pawley for being the driving force behind this generous initiative. Although Wyndham College is not in the Penrith region, they are enthusiastically supporting Mama Lanas and will be continuing this effort on a regular basis. Thank you Wyndam College: staff, SRC, students and parents - these supplies will have a huge impact on our homeless and disadvantaged community.
