Waiting for the power of nature. Two hours ago I spoke to a good friend up in Modoc County, California. The winds were whipping and two power poles toppled - she is expecting snow. I talked with a good friend near Auburn, CA (outside of Sacramento) about an hour ago. Bears broke into her rehab cage and ate three of her critters. She said the bear was over six feet. The wind was starting up there. Another friend in Westwood, CA has her wood in and is expecting snow. Here we are sitting south of them and are being pounded by falling acorns and rain/snow (depends on which weather site to believe) coming tonight or early tomorrow morning. At least all sites agree that we have a 90% chance of precipitation! lol...lights have flickered a couple of times. Might be a repeat of the 2010/11 winter.
