Walking With God! To walk in the Spirit requires the sacrifice of self: (carnal mind, self in control which produces self-will, Everything pertaining to your life such as; earthly posessions, family, friends, your body, your mind, will, and emotions which is your soul which is the real you who you are, and spirit) To not sacrifice these things is to maintain control of them or over them. A person can never have or establish a relationship with the Spirit without remaining in the mind of the Spirit, the same as putting on the mind of Christ. The mind of the Spirit will establish the Word (law) of God but the carnal mind is not subject to the law of God and neither indeed can be. Religious minded people do not sacrifice only those who desire a relationship with God.
