Wanna know an awesome way to put coupons to use??? In my local circular there are always coupons for fast food. McDonalds usually has some buy1get1 free. So this morning I went for breakfast and got an iced caramel mocha + one for free. I also got a sausage egg and cheese + one for free. I went over to an area where homeless ppl are known to be. There, on a bench, sat a man with his kart full of belongings. I was pleased to find him because i see him often and have been waiting for an opportunity to speak to him. Hes around my age and i just cant imagine being in his position. Everyone may not think like me but i find it courageous that hes obviously at a very low point in his life and he still wakes up every morning and doesnt give up on life and in fact smiles and waves as cars/ppl pass by him. I gave him my freebies and told him to have a blessed day. As I watched his face light up he began to repeatedly thank me. I drove off because I couldnt hold back the tears. I dont know this mans story. Idc what his story is honestly. All I know is that at any time the tables could turn, so for now Im giving with a humble and gracious heart. Im thanking God that hes givin me the mentality and heart to see past circumstances and just to have compassion and LOVE for all his children regardless. OK I got in my feelings for a minute... point of this post is that you can bless someones day without spending a penny!!! And I promise you - it amazes me every time how much joy I get from blessing someone else. Dont take my word for it.. try it and see for yourself!!!!!
