What the role involves: Experience of working in financial services is highly desirable, but not essential as full training will be provided. We are looking for someone who enjoys working in a customer service role both face to face and over the phone, enjoys working as part of a team to achieve sales targets but can also be self-motivated as there will be personal sales targets to achieve as well as some remote working at our other offices in South Lakeland. The position of ‘Insurance Arranger’ involves providing information, responding to enquiries and completing sales of Age UK products and services to the over 50’s market. This role involves sales of insurance products; therefor there will be a significant amount of training involved (particularly at the outset) as well as regular monitoring of your personal competence to deal in Financial Conduct Authority regulated products. There will be an amount of cash handling and administrative work involved within this role and as such attention to detail is vital. Product knowledge, training and processes to maintain competence are all computer based, so it is essential that the successful candidate is computer literate and can demonstrate a good attitude to study and learning. Recent evidence of personal and or professional development is desirable.
