Want to boost your CV by volunteering at a high profile conference? Fancy networking with leading academics and professionals in the violence reduction field? The Violence Research Centre of the Institute of Criminology and the World Health Organization are organising the Global Violence Reduction Conference 2014 at King’s College, Cambridge on the 17th-19th of September. We are looking for volunteers to join our team and help make this a great event by helping out during the days of the conference. The roles require a commitment to full-time work during three days (17th-19th of September), as well as a training session beforehand. We also need volunteers to work on the public lecture by Steven Pinker. This promises to be a fantastic event with high demand, so volunteering is a great way of ensuring a spot during the lecture. Only applicants who can commit to working for the duration of the period will be considered. Separate applications for the Steven Pinker lecture are welcome. Please send your application (CV and cover letter) to [email protected]. Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
