Want to save power, close down all stores at 7 pm, all restaurants at midnight, and only allow pubs, clubs, bars, casinos, and theaters to run later than midnight. That way youll save energy, ease the suffocating traffic, teach people to wake up and work during daylight hours, rehabilitate this nocturnal culture (I know so many people who are biting their tongues now because Im a fine one to preach about night owls :) ), but this situation is too serious for us to maintain this high consumption, extremely high wastage of resources, and very low production, if any, way of life. And while were on the topic, why were all the street lights on the airport road, down Orouba, and all the way to the October flyover lit in broad daylight? Oh, and one more thing, a bit of security around electrical towers might save a whole lot of energy too.
