Want to say a very Happy Purim to my Jewish friends. I remember celebrating it with Cathie Prewitt Dorsch when she came to Israel to visit me last year. Purim celebrates the saving of the Jews in Persia from the genocidal plans of Haman. Through the wisdom and grace of Mordechai and Esther and the behind-the-scenes machinations of God, certain death was replaced with victory, security and religious freedom. I LOVE THE STORY OF QUEEN ESTHER! Cathie and I are pictured here during Purim last year (2013) with the Megillah Scroll which contains the Story of Esther.
