Warning - horrible story. Yesterday we had to have one of our Suffolk tups, Geoff, put down because he had been savaged by a dog. I want to think it was a loose dog and didnt have its owner with it because I cant live in a world where somebody would see this happen and not report it. He had an enormous hole gnawed in his back leg, and was slowly dying of blood loss and shock when I found him in the morning. I could share a picture but I dont want to make you throw up. Safe to say I wont forget the sight or the terror in his eyes soon. Most people I know are responsible dog owners and wouldnt have this happen. All I say is please keep your dog on a lead in fields with sheep. Thanks
