Warning! Please share. So Thursday arvo I used my key card at Safeway and petrol station, came straight home, parked in drive way right at my front door. Anyway car was unlocked for about half an hour. Next morning realised I couldnt find my purse, long story short it had been stolen from my car in that half hour window but couldnt believe somehow theyd emptied my savings account! Had no idea how til today I got a call from the police wanting to get all the details as it has happened twice in Somerville and once in langwarrin in the last week. So with the other incidents they had watched a women use her pin to pay for petrol then followed her home and as she parked on the street and got out of her car they drove past and snatched her handbag then immediately used the pin they saw before and emptied her account, another lady used her pin then continued to shop ad again they snatched her bag! So police believe they had followed me home from the petrol station and as I went inside they grabbed my purse from my car. So just make sure anytime you use your pin at servos etc make sure nobodys watching hopefully they will get some vision from the ATM video where they withdrew my money but Im guessing they probably made sure they arent recognisable. Hopefully karma will eventually catch up with these scumbags!
