Tom Spooner is a 21-year Veteran of the U.S. Army, 15 of which were spent within the U.S. Army Special Operations Command. Toms has 40 months of Direct Action combat experience in a Special Missions Unit with over a decade of deployments. Tom will be sharing his experience in the military, transitioning to civilian life, veterans issues, and some of the amazing projects he is involved with!! Kent Solheim served in the United States Army for more than 18 years (3rd Special Forces Group) and has deployed six times in support of Operation ENDURING FREEDOM and Operation IRAQI FREEDOM. Kent will be sharing about Gold Star Teen Adventures providing unique summer adventure opportunities for Gold Star Youth. The purpose of the programs is to provide healing, mentorship, development, and opportunity to the children of special operations Service Members who lost their lives in the line of duty.
