Was asked to share this by my Mom. So vent time (And please dont turn this into an argument) Why do I sometimes undercharge on my dresses? Honestly, because im REALLY lucky. Like legit. I landed a handsome man who supprts me, loves disney, and makes over six figures, so i dont have to pay for a thing. That man even bought my first viking. So no, i dont use this to pay rent, or bills, or gas, because i dont have to. Because im lucky. This is still a business, but one that lets me upgrade machines or buy 150 yards of satin without blinking. And honestly, i just plain love doing it. I love making dress, i love making princesses, i love making anything that makes someone feel pretty. Those of you who have already bought from me and sent me pictures. i see it in your face, in your smile. I may not be the princess in the photo, but thats MY dress. I helped make magic. And im going to keep right on doing it. On MY price point. Its MY choice what deals i make. its MY choice what i charge. Its MY choice if i only want cost of materials covered. its MY business. Stop telling me, or other people, im undercutting them or im crap quality or have no skills because i choose to make people happy over money. Thats MY choice. Also, my parents raised me with a simple saying You give, to get, to give. In other words, you give to people so you can be blessed, and bless even more people. I am blessed with a loving man who not only takes care of me, but spoils me. So i want to pass on that love and blessing to performers who sweat, and bleed, and cry, and force a smile, and ignore the pain and the stains to make that kids day. And thats what im doing, and im not sorry. I will never be sorry. So who wants a princess dress?
