Was evaluated today at work: Boss: Youve had some issues with Absenteeism, and we know that youve done everything you can. Me: I totally understand why I am in here, and I take full responsibility for my actions. Boss: Kareem, thats not why youre here, thats why youre such a good employee!! You are receptive to criticism and never make excuses. You push yourself to limits that I cannot imagine, and were lucky to have you. Me: I appreciate that sir!! I have grown here, and learning everyday!!! Boss: We were skeptical of you at first, because we needed a consistent Therapist at our School, but youve proved worthy upon all measure. I walked out of the Office holding back tears, because in each mirror at work, says you matter. I feel overwhelmed with joy knowing how valued I am at work. I say this because for years, I felt unworthy of something. Each job Ive worked have said nothing but good things about me. Allah taala shined his light on me today, and I am forever grateful for yhat. I hope that this message reaches someone in need to feel worthy. Thank you!! 🙏🙌😢
