Was feeling a little sorry for myself . . . gas leak from oven/stove will be over $300, and leaves me without stove for a week, same day lots of bad numbers from lab test, tired from being up all night . . . temps in 20s not a propitious time to have gas leak (if the gas has to be turned off, water pipes will burst: trouble upon trouble); no time is good for $300 bill on my limited income (who has an extra $300 in a month?) . . . at least I do have a microwave, so dont have to cook on the grill outside. At least I have a grill and a little fuel I could do if I had to. And I have something to cook and eat. How many people in the world and in history did not have that? But as I pondered, the thought came to me, if there are no challenges, how can I see miracles in my life? I have faith in miracles. I have seen miracles. I trust in God for miracles.
