Was just talking to this kid who works down at the bike shop who was telling me that he is planning on a ride next year from Peoria, Il to Peoria Az, for a charity, no less! which is almost exactly the idea that I have had rolling around in my head for awhile now. I have at least two more years before I can do anything like that, but I do gotta say that I am inspired by that discussion. I no longer think that I have lost my mind for thinking about this, even though this kid was probably in his early to mid twenties and I am 43. I have heard of folks way older than I making longer treks than this and.... well....I think I could do it!
