Was thinking earlier today about praising God, and what that consists of. A lot of people have the notion that they can praise God in their own way. I disagree, I believe God likes His praise in certain ways. For instance, my wife has certain ways in which she wants me to love her, whether it be long hugs, random kisses, etc. Looking at scripture, God has certain ways in which He wants us to praise Him, like lifting up Holy hands: Psalm 63:4, Shouting out onto Him: Psalm 32:11, Singing loud praises: Psalm 9:11, praising Him with instruments and dance: Psalm 150:4. Remember that praise and worship is SELFLESS. Dont be so arrogant and selfish that you feel you dictate how God receives His praise. Bow Down.
