Watch Your Words “Death and life are in the power of the tongue: and they that love it shall eat the fruit thereof.” Proverbs 18:21 (KJV) Every word that you release out of your mouth is filled with creative power to produce life or death, causing immediate activity in the spiritual realm either for your good, or for your destruction. This is why speaking life is so important. It is true that your life today is a direct result of the words you spoke yesterday. If you don’t like your life, change what you are saying. Maybe you feel like so many others, and are wondering why your situation hasn’t improved even though you have been speaking life. Instead of becoming frustrated, understand that no matter how things may appear, the moment you opened your mouth and released God’s word into the atmosphere, things began to change for you. God watches over His word to perform it. You must also watch in expectancy over your words, looking for manifestation. Your words are just as powerful as Your Father’s “Let there be light”, and as Jesus’ “Peace be still.” Prayer: Father, I put my confidence in Your promises and I choose to speak Your words of life. I cancel every destructive and idle word I have allowed to be released out of my mouth. I pray that You help me stay reminded of the power of my words. Thank You Lord! In Jesus’ name, Amen
