† Watch for Traffic † You were running a good race. Who cut in - TopicsExpress

† Watch for Traffic † You were running a good race. Who cut in on you to keep you from obeying the truth? That kind of persuasion does not come from the one who calls you. Galatians 5:7–8 NIV Paul wrote to the Galatians, who had turned back to keeping the law, and asked them who cut in on them to keep them from obeying the truth. This cut in means to hinder, interrupt, to get in the way. Anyone that has been cut off in traffic has experienced this. In automobile racing it is common for a slower car to try and block faster cars from passing. It is not sportsmanlike, but it certainly happens. Paul was speaking of a foot race but the same rule applies. The enemy will try and cut in on you, to get in your path, to throw you off the course, and he is not a good sport. He will wreck you and then say it is your fault. Do not let the enemy get in your way today. Stay focused, be patient, be watchful, stay on target, keep obeying God. Watch for traffic.
