Watched U-turn. Oh dear, oh dear. It was so BAD! I hated this film, the actors all people who are talented and I enjoy watching but for some reason, this doesnt work at all. Sean Penn is the only good actor in this film. Joaquin Phoenix is awful in this film and I hated his character. Claire Danes is awful as his stupid clue-less blonde (and I love blondes!) trashy girl-friend. So... she did something really awful there. Billy Bob Thortons character is stupid and annoying. The whole film has this feeling of just Lets annoy you more and it annoyed more and more as it went along. The dialogue is terrible and it then turned into an un-intentionally hilarious comedy! Laughing incredibly hard at bad lines, bad deliveries of dialogue. The violence is all wrong (apart from one scene, in the store) and reminded me of Ill manors, that dreadful Plan B film which was just twisted, darkly violent it just made me depressed and ended up hating the film. Overall: 2/10= Really bad and un-intentionally hilarious (which I wasnt expecting). Some re-deeming features like Sean Penn and that one scene in the store (with the enjoyable violence).
