Watched a fantastic documentary on Ethel Kennedy (Mrs Robert) simply called "Ethel" and was created by the 11th child (Rory) who was born after Roberts death. I wonder how the course of America would have changed, had Robert not been killed, or had she, stepped up and entered the political race...but, she had 11 kids to raise! The most interesting thing was the old family photos and video clips and the fact that she took all them kids to the senate hearings on a regular basis to see their daddy work and the kids were taught to be aware and a part of the political world around them, from discussing the newspaper headlines, to walking in the shoes of those less fortunate, she set these kids on the path to make the world a more compassionate place...one of those "strong American women" I forgive her for marrying a democrat, she was born and raised on the conservative side!
