Watched a science conference late Thursday night on C-span. (I know, geek) Scientists from all major universities both medical and technological. They were talking about Obama budget cuts for advances in the above areas, cancer research ending, childhood blood cancers clinical trials stopped other than private studies that are totally under funded as well as many other front line killers. All technological grants slowed to a trickle, it is their consensuses that the USA by the year 2020 will be behind the other super powers, especially in defense and bio tech as to create a national defense deficit we won`t come back from unless that course is change within just a few years. But make no mistake there is plenty of money for welfare and disability to by votes.
