Watched two "First grade" teams go around last nite, the Tiggers and the Worriers, and it just reminded me of the everlasting damage that was done to Rugby League by Messrs Murdoch and Ribot during the SL war. Huge money paid to ordinary "players" to deliver a sub standard product. We will be up early today to go through our daily grind, to eke out an existence under ever increasing financial burdens, while these overpaid, pompous prima donnas will drag themselves to a pool "recovery session". We should be having protest picket lines outside the Leagues clubs demanding free entry for all who wish to subject themselves to the boredom of what is being served up as "entertainment".
