Watching Super Soul Sunday - Oprah with author Michael Singer discussing his philosophy in Untethered Soul. He realised that voice, that incessant voice that expresses worries and doubts and anxieties was not really him, but he was the observer of that voice. That inner dialogue was the expression of his psyche not his soul. - Oprah re Michael Singer. This is interesting to me, I can think of my thoughts as maybe a computer processing intake, observations, etc but dont need to accept everything that it throws at me. I can seperate it from me and choose to act and react to the world and people with some of the information but also add to it from what my soul gives me. So I can ignore the garbage it gives me, just as I would ignore certain news stories.
