Watching and listening to news lately and it seems that what is wrong is now right , excusable or allowed and what is right is wrong or illegal. Criminals suing home owners because their rights were violated when the homeowner shot them during an act of armed home invasion and they were not made aware before the criminal act that the homeowner had a license to carry (not that he needed it in his own home) and used his weapon to defend himself and his family during this criminal act. They state that had they known he had a weapon they would have chosen another residence to rob. The home owner who is a former marine chose to wound and not fatally shoot these three men. I dont know if I would have been able to show the victims the same restraint. I am sure the homeowner now wishes he had not been so thoughtful in allowing these men to survive to later sue him. The part that also gets me is there is a lawyer out there willing to take on such a case.
