Water. Is. A. Human. Right. Dont let the media and these politicians fool you into thinking it is a privilege. Get your head out of the gutter. Our tax money is going toward all these terrible things that the government uses it for and I wont even get into listing those. How about instead of criticizing the poor you start holding your government accountable for using your money to support things like terrorism on Palestinian people and force them to recognize what it should be used for in this country. Hmmm idk things like water? Let me remind you that HUNDREDS OF THOUSANDS of people are getting their water shut off and many of those people actually have paid their bill. Not to mention the corporations downtown that owe THOUSANDS of dollars in water bills that have gone unpaid yet their water is NOT being shut off. There is a bigger plan here. WAKE UP. Stop turning against your own damn people and judging as if you are a corporation yourself. Recognize the real bad guys. They want Detroit and they dont want you in it. This water issue is just one of many that are pushing Detroiters (especially low income Detroiters) out so they can make Detroit better. Yeah, make Detroit better, and you think thats cool right? Cool. Just remember that you aint included and you wont be reapin the benefits my friend. Detroit isnt going to be your city anymore, and when you look around you wont be seeing people that look like you. Dont be a fool. Educate yourself and stand by your people. It IS the right thing to do. Oh and I am not looking for a debate. This is something I stand so firmly on that I could care less about any argument you put forth to belittle or go against what I have said. Dont comment. I wont go back and forth with you on this.
