Watson Forum, TODAY at 4pm CHASING THE RAINBOW Hollywood Film Veteran, DAN BRONSON talk and Q&A Previously an English professor at DePauw, film veteran Dan Bronson will speak at Watson Forum, Friday, May 9th, at 4pm, about life in the Hollywood film business. Dan worked as Senior Story Analyst at both Universal and Paramount Pictures, served as Executive Story Editor at Paramount, and served as the executive in charge of Godfather III, before he became an independent writer-producer, with five cable and network movies to his credit (as well as uncredited work on Die Hard: With a Vengeance and Hear No Evil). Hes been nominated for an ACE Award for Best Writer, wrote Death of a Cheerleader and The Last Innocent Man, a film described by the New York Times as the movie that marked HBOs coming of age. Hes worked with the likes of Ed Harris, Jason Bateman, Henry Thomas, Bruce Willis, Marlee Matlin, and Valerie Harper, executives including Jeffrey Katzenberg, Michael Eisner, Dawn Steel, and Ned Tanen, and directors Roger Spottiswoode, John McTiernan, and Robert Ellis Miller.
